Overview :

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at BelleHarbour in Suffolk, Virginia . This full-time role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, providing the opportunity to collaborate with physicians in the hospital while also managing patients independently in the clinic.

Position Highlights

• Full-time schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. (1-2 days in office)
• Inpatient care at Sentara Obici Hospital and Sentara CarePlex Hospital
• Outpatient clinic with independent patient management
• Average patient panel of 15 per day
• Weekend rotation : 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 7 : 00-11 : 00 a.m.)
• Rotating call schedule : once every two weeks (nights, phone only - not in person)
• Duties include general follow-ups and new patient visits
