Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Technologist for a Peripheral Vascular Lab position requiring 4 years of vascular ultrasound experience and current RDCS, RVT, RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a peripheral vascular lab environment
  • Day shift schedule from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, five days per week
  • Full-time, 13-week assignment
  • Perform vascular ultrasound evaluations including Doppler and physiologic testing
  • Write preliminary reports and communicate acute findings to the care team
  • Obtain relevant patient health history prior to examinations
  • Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use and ensure timely turnover between cases
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, reporting issues to supervisors
  • May be responsible for staff training and education

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years vascular technologist experience
  • Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
  • Current certification required : RDCS or RVT through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS through CCI
  • Current CPR certification
  • License required if applicable
