Job descriptionAcute Rehabilitation - Comprehensive physical and medical rehabilitation program serving patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, cancer, cardiac and other neurological issues.RESPONSIBILITIESAttend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing membersAssists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needsAssists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinationsTakes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered NurseParticipates in patient discharge planningPerforms other related projects and duties as assignedSKILLS & ABILITIES :Strong commitment & dedication to Madonna and the patients we serveFriendly, caring and professional demeanor to achieve an excellent patient / customer experience for individuals going through difficult experiencesExcellent communication skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt to challenging situationsDesire to make a difference in the lives of rehabilitation patients and their familiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE18 year of ageSuccessful completion of the 75-hour state approved CNA training programActive CNA certification in good standing in Nebraska
