Tax Transformation Consultant Senior

Location : This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Must be able to work out of either the Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Las Vegas, NV or Indianapolis, IN office.

The Tax Consultant Senior is responsible for ensuring that tax processes and tools are designed and maintained to guarantee tax matters are timely and accurately addressed for the company.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Design and implement tax technology / transformation projects and initiatives spanning all tax areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or analytics initiatives.
• Prepares federal and state income tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws.
• Prepares tax provisions and assists in the preparation of related tax disclosures for statutory or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements.
• Assists in the research and analysis of tax developments and their application to specific business situations.
• Assists or leads in other tax department activities, including projects, research, and tax examinations with a focus on process improvement and innovation.

Minimum Requirements

Requires BA / BS in accounting and a minimum of 4 years of corporate tax experience, either within industry or public accounting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
