We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage our financial records along with client's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. You will be responsible for recording transactions, maintaining financial documents, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Maintain organized and accurate financial filing systems.
Assist in audits and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Provide support during tax preparation and filing.
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a relevant financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite.
Expert in creating QBO rules to manage repetitive entries.
Understanding of managing multiple companies and books when related transactions and money movement occur.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Ability to organize daily workload to ensure complete books are available for tax preparation deadlines.
