Position Summary :
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator, Required Mandarin / Family Support Center - Brooklyn.
The bilingual Program Coordinator will deliver the Video Interaction Project (VIP) intervention to children ages 0 to 3 years old and their caregivers. The coordinator will also be responsible for multiple project tasks and will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical providers and other child development professionals.
Job Responsibilities :
Administer standardized VIP program to parents and caregivers of infants and young children, which involves tips about reading, playing, and interacting with children, videotaping and providing positive reinforcement about the video
Maintain records of family participation in the program, maintain databases
Engage with parents and children who are in the program
Coordinate with caregivers and track / schedule upcoming program visits
Conduct interviews with parents about a range of topics, including screens for depression and questions about their child’s development and behaviors
Prepare, update, and translate project-related documents
Identify opportunities to integrate and implement VIP in community or clinic locations
Meet regularly with staff members and multidisciplinary team
Assess and ensure compliance with processes at sites
Coordinate the ordering, replacement, and updating of VIP toys and materials
Developing simple tools / tracking systems at site and VIP level for coordination and consistency
Assist with data management and operational aspects of the program
Create / update site protocols and procedures in collaboration with VIP interventionists
Provide regular reports to all stakeholders on program
Plan and coordinate VIP events, such as Early Literacy Celebrations
Outreach & collaboration with other organizations and programs that partner with VIP
Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two years relevant experience

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary for the role is $58,500 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
