Job Description

PCG is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for its corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS . This position is responsible for the following duties:

• Assist with weekly check runs for vendors
• Set up new vendors for corporate and branch locations
• AP management reporting
• Audit and approve branch and corporate travel and expense reports
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Respond to Branch and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Possess good computer skills and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer functionality
• Work well with others through all methods of communication
• Prepare ad hoc reporting to management when needed

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail required
• Effective communicator
• Self-starter and able to prioritize

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with multiple locations preferred
• Local to the KC Metro area
• Experience with the construction industry preferred
