Job descriptionEducation : Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field (experience may substitute). Certifications : CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHT, GSP, or similar (BCSP accredited). Experience : 5+ years in construction safety. 5+ years in a supervisory safety role. Owner-representative experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license.

Summary :
The Site Safety Manager oversees all safety and health aspects during a construction plant outage . This person ensures contractors follow safety programs, laws, and regulations, conducts safety inspections and audits, and reports compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor construction and contractor activities for safety compliance.
- Conduct safety observations, audits, and inspections.
- Review and approve contractor safety plans.
- Attend project and safety meetings.
- Prepare daily safety and incident reports.
- Report directly to the Corporate Construction Safety Manager.
