Job Description :
The State of Michigan is seeking a PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in PowerBuilder development, SQL query writing, and database management . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience modifying PowerBuilder source code, performing unit testing, and working with source control technologies.
Specialty Areas :
PowerBuilder Development – Experience with PowerBuilder version 7 or higher.
Database Query Writing – Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
Code Analysis & Documentation – Ability to research and modify PowerBuilder source code and document application logic.
Unit Testing & Source Control – Experience with unit testing and source control tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps, or GIT.
Responsibilities :
Develop, modify, and maintain PowerBuilder applications.
Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document application processes.
Perform and document unit testing to ensure software quality.
Utilize source control technologies (TFS, Azure DevOps, GIT) for version management.
Collaborate with business analysts and other IT professionals to meet project requirements.
