Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
Location : Ventura County, CA
On-Site Full-Time Relocation Assistance
My client is an innovative, cutting-edge aerospace startup who are growing & looking to bring on a qualified professional to lead maintenance on and manage a hybrid electric aircraft fleet.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and testing tasks on hybrid electric aircrafts.
- Source and procure necessary materials, parts, and supplies.
- Oversee the maintenance records / aircraft documentation to ensure they are accurately maintained and up to date - manuals, logs, airworthiness, etc.
- Manage the stocking, safety, and access to hangars and aircraft.
- Manage staff training for tasks in the hangars and aircraft .
- Assist the engineering team and test pilots with ground testing and flight testing.
- Occasionally travel to remote flight test locations to support missions with the aircraft.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P required)
- 5-10+ years of experience maintaining small piston engine aircrafts / reciprocating engine aircrafts.
Preferred Qualifications
- IA Certification
- Fleet management experience.
- Experience with DARs for maintenance of airworthiness certificates.
- Experience with experimental prototype planes.
- Experience with electric or hybrid electric aircrafts.
- Experience with high-voltage and high-power systems and safety practices.
