Located in Salem NH, Analogic is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Co-op Manufacturing Engineer will assist with the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Project Support : Lead effort to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks. Interacting w / Quality, Design and Production teams to ensure changes are fully vetted and compliant to customer requirements.
- Process Improvement : Provide support to manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Data Analysis : Collect and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making processes using Minitab and / or MS Excel.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Equipment Maintenance : Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, such as R&D, Quality, and Production, to support overall manufacturing goals.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements :
Education : Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Certification), and statistical analysis toolsQualifications :
Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.THIS ROLE WILL BE LOCATED IN OUR NEW Facility at 9 Northeastern BLVD Salem NH. You must have your own transportation to this location.
