Responsibilities Work in an inpatient interventional radiology unit with patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM Call and float requirements are included Unit uses Epic for charting Procedures performed include TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, angiograms, ablations, stents, biopsies, drainages, and hemodynamic monitoring Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment required Performs specialized procedures such as stents, ablations, angioplasty, kyphoplasty, paracentesis, and thoracentesis Handles peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular, genitourinary, neurological studies, and venous access Works with team members to provide care across all age groups in a dynamic hospital environment All requests for time off must be included at initial consideration and are limited to 3-4 days High cost of living in the area should be considered prior to accepting the assignment Open to first-time travelers meeting experience criteria COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to start Requirements Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience required; first-time travelers must have over 4 years experience Active CA Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, and CRT required prior to start IV start, phlebotomy, EKG, PACS, portables, C-arm, and contrast administration required Inpatient setting experience required; outpatient, ER, Level I trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU experience preferred Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment required; GE, Toshiba, Acuson, Hitachi preferred EPIC charting experience preferred COVID-19 vaccination required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613949.
