Summary

Provider Enrollment is the starting point for all providers wishing to support Kansas Medicaid. As a provider enrollment clerk, you must complete enrollments through a workflow.

The process allows a clerk to validate attached documents for accuracy, and through a verification process, potential providers are submitted for state consideration before approval.

The successful applicant will be responsible for accurate validations and will work independently using their judgment when deciding the next step with an application.

You will also be part of a team that handles phone inquiries to assist potential providers with questions about the enrollment process and troubleshooting issues that may arise when completing an enrollment application.

Your role in our mission

• Responsible for processing incoming applications for enrollment for potential Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) providers.
• Use multiple websites to screen and make determinations about meeting state requirements.
• Handling phone calls and e-mails from KMAP providers related to provider enrollment topics.
• Must manage multiple tasks and be able to function with strict timelines with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to strict time frames for processing applications and monitoring outstanding tasks.

The pay range for this position is $29,100.00 - $41,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
