We’re actively seeking a talented Solution Architect to support enterprise functions such as Finance, Actuarial, HR, Compliance, Risk & Legal, to join our Pacific Life Technology Architecture in Newport Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Aligned to Corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Actuarial, Risk, Legal, Compliance, providing architecture guidance and direction on systems and solutions that span a hybrid, multi-cloud environment with SaaS and PaaS vendor systems.
• Lead, manage, and coordinate the architecture of a platform and its products.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to prioritize features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
• Define and align technical architecture with business strategy, ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Design and document the overall structure, components, and interrelationships of a platform (IT systems, applications, data, and infrastructure).
• Develop artifacts describing architectural components, critical connection points, and linkage to future state architecture.
• Define patterns to be developed by platform products.
• Identify architectural risks and work with platform owners, program managers, software vendors, and platform portfolio architects to mitigate them.
• Review epics and features to ensure solution architecture supports them.
• Participate in solution development, ensuring compliance with reference architectures, standards, and guardrails.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concepts to validate design decisions and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap aligning features, enhancements, and releases with strategic priorities.
• Evaluate new technologies and platform / product capabilities to meet business needs.

Base Pay Range : The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will depend on experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$148,230.00 - $181,170.00
