ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Staffing Coordinator at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be responsible for scheduling three shifts of Nurses, Med Techs and Caregivers, coordinating time off requests, tracking overtime, creating daily assignment sheets, scheduling breaks and tracking attendance. The Staffing Coordinator supports the Director of Nursing with resident files and clerical duties and assists with new hire orientation.
The ideal Staffing Coordinator candidate is professional, reliable, detail oriented, proficient using staff scheduling software and has prior experience in a comparable role. Belmont Village Staffing Coordinators are excellent communicators and are able to quickly build a professional rapport with a diverse team.
YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate 24 hour work schedules including coverage for call offs and approved time off requests using staff scheduling software such as OnShift or ADP
Effectively manage staffing schedules to fairly distribute work hours and keep overtime to a minimum while working within the parameters of the labor budget
Coordinate new hire training and support new employee orientation process
Data entry and administrative clerical support related to department supplies, payroll, time & attendance, and filing
Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated success with MS Office suite and staff scheduling software
Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Capable of handling confidential information responsibly
Demonstrates initiative and reliable critical thinking skills
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
