Location : Asheville, NC (28801) – North Carolina nursing jobs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650–$1770

Unit : 6 West Neurosciences, Main Campus

Setting : On-Site, Travel Nursing

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 2 / 2025 – End : 2 / 1 / 2026)

Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM (12 Hour Days)

Hours per Week : 36

Number of Beds : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for North Carolina healthcare jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) RN experience

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and NIHSS certifications

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Neurosciences or neuro nursing experience is a plus

Outgoing, self-motivated, and team-oriented personality

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care on a 36-bed Neurosciences Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Perform clinical procedures including Foley catheter insertion and IV starts

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (RNs, CNAs, HUCs)

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR

Float to other Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) units as needed

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code requirements

Participate in every other weekend rotation as part of the nursing team
