Senior Material and PC&L Analyst

Description

• Monitor stock levels using PLEX
• Maintain inventory $ goal
• Communicate consigned inventory issues with supplier.
• Coordinate material for production trial runs & engineering changes
• Coordinate model year build-outs
• Act as contact point for suppliers
• Act as a lead to material planning group
• Communicate past due shipments
• Make inventory adjustments as required
• Manage lead logistic provider for delivery of material
• Maintain material schedules with suppliers for production & service components
• Create / Close ASN’s
• Supervise Material Handlers
• Perform required cycle counts
• Travel less than 10%

Position Requirements

Required – Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in PC&L and material planning operations for at least 5 years. Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles including Lean Manufacturing System. Candidate should have knowledge of transportation industry and LLP’s including both regular modes of transportation as well as expedited methods. Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

Preferred - Experience in SAP / PLEX.
