Postdoctoral Scholars - Biomedical Engineering

Overview

The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering anticipates openings for postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels I–IV) for the 2021-22 academic year. This is an ongoing recruitment; initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note : Total duration of an individual's postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.

• Biomedical computation / modeling
• Biomolecular and cellular engineering
• Biomaterials
• Tissue / regenerative engineering
• Neuroengineering
• Systems biology
• Cardiovascular engineering

These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology and experience in the focus research areas listed above.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application) : Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology.
