Adecco is hiring CNC Milling Operators to work with our client located in South Windsor, CT. These are long term opportunities with potential for temp to hire.2nd Shift openings. Pay rate range from $25 - 35 / hr dependent on experience. If your skills match the job duties below, please apply now!

The CNC Milling Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards in a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture complex aerospace components per engineering drawings and traveler documentation.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate machining.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators).

Monitor machining processes, adjusting speeds, feeds, and tool paths as required to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.

Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed.

Complete all required production documentation in compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.

Work closely with engineering, quality, and supervisory staff to resolve machining challenges.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to company safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications : Required :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop documentation.
• Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Preferred :

Work Environment :

Second shift schedule; overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and shop floor activity.

Standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs. required.

Pay Details : $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
