About the Job :

Responsible for application implementation, all aspects of support, and continuous improvement of information systems. Provide advanced level support and supports and mentors’ other analysts as needed.

What You’ll Do :

Assist with moderate level application changes and upgrades including, but not limited to workflow analysis, testing, configuration, and guidance to others as needed.

Designs and builds templates and tools that will be used as the foundation for entering information into the application / system.

Ensures systems are configured to be consistent with vendor recommendations and uses to maximize the benefit to the patient and / or the staff using the system.

Participates in mandatory ITS meetings and complies with ITS policies, procedures and guidelines.

Complies with explicit instructions of ITS leadership regarding the operation of technology systems under the employee’s responsibility.

Who You Are :

Education : A High School diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Licensure / certification : Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications / modules employee is assigned to support.

If not currently certified (or proficient) employee will have 6 months from their DOH (Date of Hire) or DOT (Date of Transfer) into a position that requires certification (proficiency).

Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience using computer-based system(s) in a healthcare setting or in an analyst related role is required.

Knowledge : Basic working knowledge of computers & computerized systems. In a healthcare setting is preferred.
