Student Nurse Tech

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center -

Are you a Nursing Student in your last Semester or waiting to take the NCLEX?

Get your foot in the door as a Nursing Student Tech, working with a diverse aging population at Northridge Health and Rehab .

As a Nursing Student Tech, you will be working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) or the Unit Manager and receive hands-on experience.

This position requires active enrollment or completion of the nursing program (LPN or RN program) and have completed Pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Answer resident call lights
• Transport residents between designates areas
• Pass out medication and charting
• Assist the Charge Nurse in various direct patient care

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Nursing Program and have completed Pharmacology or have completed the program
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and techniques
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a diverse aging population
