Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL DBA who possesses exceptional SQL skills and in-depth knowledge of database administration. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in writing, optimizing, and tuning complex SQL queries , creating efficient indexes, and handling advanced troubleshooting.

This role requires hands-on expertise in database performance tuning, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), role-based access control (RBAC), and understanding of RTO / RPO strategies

Key Responsibilities :

• Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Design and implement indexing strategies for query performance improvements.
• Administer and maintain PostgreSQL clusters with HA and DR configurations.
• Manage RBAC policies ensuring secure database access and compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, providing root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Plan and implement database backup, recovery, and failover strategies to meet RTO / RPO objectives.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related needs.
