Assistant Store Manager
We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive, approachable manner, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. The role also involves organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed, ensuring the seasonal areas of the store are maintained, and performing opening and closing procedures as needed. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager will process all corporate directives, maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assist in ordering merchandise, manage record keeping, maintain areas of the store, protect and secure all company assets, adhere to policies and procedures, supervise, train, and develop store associates, and ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment. The position also requires maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable. Other duties as assigned.
