Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. What You Get to Do :

• Build Team Leadership : Supervise and coach a team of up to 12 operators, manage schedules, performance, and training, and lead hiring and onboarding efforts.
• Operational Oversight : Coordinate resources, support budget planning, review project designs, and ensure operational integrity.
• Compliance & Safety : Monitor regulatory compliance, conduct internal audits, and model safety best practices.
• Hands-On Operations : Support field operations and emergency response efforts as needed.

Physical ability to respond to emergency situations. Work indoors and outdoors at all hours in all weather conditions near refined petroleum products. Physical mobility to walk, sit, stand, reach, pull, push, and bend. Digital dexterity for operation of calculator, PC keyboard and mouse. Hearing in the normal range. Lift up to 20 pounds. Speak at a normal voice range. Climb stairs, vertical ladders up to 10 ft. and tank steps as high as 60 ft. Normal visual acuity for reading VDT screen, pressure charts and control panel counters. Physical strength to open and close manually operated valves and pressure vessel (trap, strainers, and filter) closures. Must be aware of hazards associated with field facilities and oil / gas pipeline industry.

This is a Department of Transportation (DOT) covered job and is subject to all applicable regulatory requirements such as testing for the presence of prohibited drugs and alcohol as defined under 49 CFR Part 199 as a condition of employment, to include pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable cause / suspicion and fit for duty testing.
