The expected annual salary range for this role is $107,812.53 - $145,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do :

Primary Function : Primary responsibility to oversee the Aerospace Machine and Molding manufacturing teams. Manages and coordinates all activities of the electrical interconnect factory in processing materials or manufacturing products in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through production work team members. Set work tasks and priorities; provide technical support, analysis, manufacturing, customer / contract support, and procurement.

This role requires working daily on-site M-F at our Camarillo, CA facility. This Supervisor role will support the 1st shift with typical 8am - 5pm work hours. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently residing in the USA.

Essential Functions :

• Manage a team of 30 or more direct reports to achieve operational targets & objectives.
• Oversee production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Understanding of California compliance and labor law as it relates to hourly personnel.
• Develops, motivates, and coaches team members; as well as support and participate in interviews for potential new hires.
• Evaluates operational performance of the group to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
• Identify and implement methods and practices to achieve steady improvement in efficiency, quality, service, and continuous improvement in operating profits.
• Assist in creation and managing of training plans and programs and promote cross-training opportunities.
• Promote a Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement culture by demonstrating ownership and accountability throughout the supported value streams.
• Coordinate execution of manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.
• Ensure appropriate quality processes and tools are in place and being utilized consistently, facilitating training as appropriate.
• Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
• Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
• Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare operational schedule and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
• Review production and operating reports to assess performance indicators and take appropriate action to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Develops budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance, to achieve product delivery and cost requirements.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Supports engineering during the design phase, providing factory capabilities and testability input into the design and new product introduction phase to ensure customer manufacturing delivery times are met.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to determine key goals and objectives, and corresponding metrics, to be completed during a determined period. Review and amend these actions as appropriate.
• Coordinates and assists with business initiatives, participating on teams to drive best practices across enterprise including but not limited to understanding, supporting, promoting, and improving the processes that are followed in Eaton's quality assurance initiatives and Environmental, Health, and Safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing production environment. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Other Competencies : Previous in experience in Mechatronics, Strong ethics and professional presence required, Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers, Strong oral and written communication skills, Experience with lean tools, continuous improvement or project management, Experience in a high mix / low-volume manufacturing environment, Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams, Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP / ERP) requirements and order generation process logic, Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping / receiving, Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
