This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds. The facility is a Certified Chest Pain Center and a Level 3 Trauma Center. Location Highlights Lake Havasu City, AZ, is an outdoor recreation paradise with beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery. It is conveniently located near major cities : Las Vegas - 2.5 hours drive Phoenix - 3.25 hours drive Grand Canyon National Park - 3.5 hours Los Angeles or San Diego, CA - 5 hours Position Information Department : M / S Tele Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 Weekend Hours : 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period Call Requirements : None, but flexibility to be on-call as needed Required Certifications : ACLS Years of Experience : Minimum 2 years Float Requirements : Floating to other units (IMC, ED) is expected Unit Information Number of Beds : 40 Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 Equipment : Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed / chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinet, Zoll defibrillators EHR : Medhost Patient Population : Adult / geriatric Hiring Profile Must Have Skills / Experience : Telemetry, recent acute care experience, ability to manage a 6-patient ratio Preferred Skills / Experience : At least 2 years RN experience, preceptor and charge experience is a plus Type of Patients : Total joint patients, surgical patients, clients with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GIB Personality Fit : Compassionate, positive, can-do attitude Required Education : ADN Dress Code Scrub Color : Black (top and bottom) Unacceptable Attire : Open shoes GSD Search is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
