POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and cost accounting activities. The Project Accountant also provides administrative support to the project team, ensuring successful execution of each assigned project. Key duties include verifying, posting, and processing accounts payable invoices; preparing and managing customer billing; and assisting with month-end close procedures. The role supports project-level accounting by analyzing costs and budgets, performing reconciliations, and managing contracts and other project records. The Project Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams-including Operations, Preconstruction, and Human Resources-to maintain accurate financial data and promote organizational goals. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
