Senior Oracle DBA

DTC Global Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to provide advanced engineering, administration, and performance support for enterprise Oracle environments under our federal contract.

This position ensures the reliability, security, and optimization of Oracle systems across development, QA, training, and production environments. Working as part of a multi-database team supporting Oracle, SQL Server, and related technologies, the Senior Oracle DBA will lead all Oracle-related activities-including installation, configuration, patching, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.

Job Summary :

• Administer and maintain Oracle RDBMS (12c–19c and newer) across multiple enterprise environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, and patching (PSU / RU and quarterly security updates).
• Manage and monitor database performance, space, and memory (SGA / PGA) using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and AWR / ASH analytics.
• Implement backup, recovery, and cloning using RMAN, Data Pump, and Data Guard.
• Configure and support Oracle APEX, ORDS, WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware, including patching and certificate management.
• Develop and automate PL / SQL procedures, packages, and scripts for maintenance and migration.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Support change management and interface monitoring between Oracle and integrated systems.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing to ensure RTO / RPO compliance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly activity and status reports in accordance with contract deliverables.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to optimize database and application performance.
• Remain current on emerging Oracle technologies, features, and federal IT security standards.
