As the City's newest Customer Service Representative with the Police Department, you will actively support and uphold the City's stated mission and values. Employees of this classification are responsible for performing day-to-day administrative functions as well as coordinating and collaborating with each section's administrative staff. The day-to-day administrative functions include but are not limited to answering phones, greeting customers, handling money and receipts, assisting with inmate release of property, and following the Police Department's procedures and protocols. Position Responsibilities :

• Must be able to communicate with others in spoken and written English to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the business.
• Greets all incoming visitors with courtesy and promptness at the front entrance; ascertains their business; maintains building security while assisting them.
• Communicates on the telephone professionally and courteously.
• Comprehends and follows police department procedures both oral and written.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees and members of the public.
• Fingerprint digital and ink.
• Maintains confidentiality about information learned on the job.
• Handles money, makes changes correctly, and issues receipts for requested incident reports.
• Assists with inmate release property.
• Collects any outgoing mail to be picked up by mail carrier.
• Performs other work as assigned.

Our total compensation package includes best-in-class benefits and an annual salary of $38,480.00 - $57,720.00, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
