Maintenance Repairer, Welder

Salary Range : $49,954 - $67,032

• Works with standard tools and materials using methods and practices involved in welding and general maintenance work.
• Cleans tools and equipment.
• Works from simple sketches or drawings.
• Keeps records.
• Performs a variety of other maintenance and repair tasks.
• Utilize various types of electronic and / or manual recording and information systems used by the Division.
• Equipment maintenance

Requirements : Valid NJ Class B Commercial Driver’s License w / airbrakes (Class A preferred). One (1) year of varied experience in welding mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel which shall have included oxyacetylene cutting and arc welding, mig ,fabrication and brazing Special Information : Motor Pool is considered an essential operation, and as such, hours may vary in response to emergencies which may include evening, early morning, or overnight hours.
