Serves as part of the interdisciplinary team in evaluating individual needs and implementing appropriate programming. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Department: Kahi, CPI-Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Working knowledge of the needs of the elderly, such as mobility limitations, sensory impairment and cognitive loss.
Sensitivity to the activities and educational needs of various ethnic groups is essential.
Familiarity with basic recreation equipment.
Good attention to detail with time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and practices to achieve objectives.
Basic computer knowledge such as word processing, presentation, and email software preferably Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently as well as be part of the team, while accomplishing multiple tasks under varied conditions.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard/straightforward problems.
Ability to ensure the privacy of each patient’s Protected Health Information (PHI).
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with participants, peers, physicians, other healthcare providers, and community resources to promote Suter Health services and provide exceptional customer service.

Pay Range is $22.81 to $28.51 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
