Project Finance Analyst

We have partnered with a leading IPP backed by one of the largest investment funds in the United States to support the growth and development of their project finance team.

Our client is a leader in the renewable energy development space. Through 2021, our client has financed over a billion dollars in renewable energy projects and has produced enough clean energy to power 4.5 million homes.

Given the recent success, our client is looking to expand its team and add another project finance analyst to their ranks.

You will be responsible for project-based financial modeling and documentation preparation which will have broad impacts on the greater business including supporting the Development, Origination, M&A, Corporate Finance teams to optimize and maximize potential returns.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Construct and maintain structured internal financial models leveraging tax, debt and cash equity knowledge
• Coordinate with many different departments internally to keep financial models current
• Support scenario analysis for investment decisions
• Support teams in conducting due diligence and investor relations
• Assist in managing construction loan drawdowns and financing agreement compliance
• Assist in project budgeting and corporate reporting

Qualified Candidates will have :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, business, economics or related field.
• Experience with project finance models relevant to investment banking or the renewable energy industry
• Experience modeling tax equity and debt structures
• Self motivator with exceptional leadership
• Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work product in multiple areas
• Strong organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the united states
