Our client, a growing company in the healthcare, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity on their finance team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and match invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in compliance with company policies.
• Verify invoice details and appropriate approvals before recording transactions into accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, or SAP).
• Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain an organized accounts payable ledger.
• Monitor and reconcile sub-ledger accounts and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Generate and analyze aging reports, addressing any overdue accounts quickly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within accounts payable workflows.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
