Cybersecurity Event Analyst

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Event Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and mentor SOC L1 / L2 Information Security Analysts, ensuring adherence to processes and driving new detections

Serve as an escalation point for L1 and L2 SOC analysts and collaborate with various teams on security issues

Analyze threat actor tactics and utilize security frameworks to document, track, and respond to security events

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

7+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in Threat Hunting, IT Security, or Incident Response

Experience in a 24x7 operational environment with a focus on monitoring and response capabilities

Proficiency with SIEM systems, EDR solutions, and various security monitoring tools

Strong analytical skills and experience with scripting languages is preferred
