We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and oversee HR operations across multiple offices in Los Angeles, California. This role is pivotal to fostering an inclusive and supportive company culture while managing key aspects of recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance evaluations. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of HR practices, compliance, and a commitment to enhancing the employee experience.
Responsibilities :
- Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for candidates across permanent and freelance roles.
- Build and manage a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling training and facilitating introductions to key team members.
- Address employee relations issues with attention to detail and timeliness, collaborating with legal counsel when necessary.
- Administer and oversee employee benefits programs globally, ensuring compliance with policies and coordinating annual renewals.
- Support department leads in managing performance evaluations and scheduling annual review cycles.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company goals.
- Maintain accurate employee records and track vacation, sick time, and extended leaves.
- Partner with Employer Organizations (PEOs) to ensure compliance with payroll and benefits regulations.
- Champion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and psychological safety within the organization.
- Collaborate with management to shape and reinforce company values and culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on small-sized creative agencies, studios, or advertising firms.
- Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations in both the US and UK.
- Proven ability to manage HR operations across multiple offices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Mac OS and familiarity with HRIS systems such as Bamboo.
- Demonstrated commitment to equitable processes and fostering inclusion throughout the employee life cycle.
- Experience in benefits administration and performance review management.
