Overview

We\'re looking for an Electrical Engineering Specialist who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients\' business. This is a hybrid position in Portland, Oregon; however, well qualified candidates in the US will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks on mission critical projects, gaining familiarity with the client\'s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans.
• Assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
• Work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range : $155,600.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Eligible employees may enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan. Jacobs offers unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) for full-time salaried / exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave.
