Senior Procurement Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to join our team for a contract position. This role focuses on managing procurement processes such as RFPs, IFBs, and Quick Quotes while adhering to state-specific procurement guidelines. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in government procurement and demonstrate a deep understanding of purchasing standards and practices within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage procurement processes, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bid (IFBs), and Quick Quotes.
• Ensure compliance with state-specific procurement regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and draft comprehensive procurement documents.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms.
• Utilize e-procurement systems to streamline purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.
• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency and quality.
• Oversee the preparation and review of RFP responses and related documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure their adherence to contract terms.
• Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in procurement standards to ensure best practices.
