Responsibilities - Service Lane Manager :
Train, motivate, manage and monitor performance of service department staffProvide technical assistance to employees as neededQuality check completed jobs before leaving the facilityReport any shop equipment that requires maintenance or repairMonitor and improve customer satisfaction scores and review with Service AdvisorsTeach and train ways to help achieve and maintain manufacturers requirementsEnsure customer complaints, etc. are dealt with fairly and quicklyMeet with upper management to review goals, and relay pertinent information to Service AdvisorsClosely follow and monitor department processes and situations that may require Service Manager or Director involvementMaintain a consistent and predictable lane flow with Advisors and portersEnsure service department employees follow safety policiesWeekly "huddles" with advisors and porters to quickly assess department needsQualifications / Requirements - Service Lane Manager :
Advisor / Manager experience is requiredAt least 3 years of experience is preferredExcellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.A positive attitude, good work ethic and top problem-solving skillsAbility to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.Valid driver's license and good driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentApplicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
