Role snapshot — Downers Grove, IL

We’re hiring a full-time, direct-hire Dimensional Quality Inspector for second shift. You’ll be the go-to for metrology on precision components, ensuring they meet the strict standards our customers demand.

What you’ll do

  • Operate and program coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and supporting inspection tools.
  • Execute detailed dimensional inspections to stringent quality requirements.
  • Record results clearly, maintain traceable quality documentation, and prepare inspection reports.
  • Work with production and engineering to resolve issues and verify corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvements in methods, fixtures, and measurement processes.

    • Must-haves

  • 2+ years in quality inspection within manufacturing; aerospace / precision machining exposure is a bonus.
  • CMM operation experience; programming preferred but not required.
  • Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Confident reading prints and interpreting GD&T.
  • Availability for a full-time second shift.
