About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Trauma Level I experience required.

Circulate required, scrub preferred.

Well-rounded OR nursing skills in multiple areas except CV and Transplant.

Description :

Charge pay is offered for this position.

Candidates are required to provide 2-3 days of interview availability.

On-call shifts are required.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

First-time travelers are accepted.

A total of 6 on-call shifts are required in a 6-week period.

Local candidates are accepted, with specific local radius rules.

Pending licenses will not be accepted; in-state licenses must be in hand before starting.

Candidates must float within their scope to meet facility needs.

Candidates should have experience in a variety of procedures, including general, trauma, and robotic surgeries.

Candidates must have experience in handling a daily census of 70-80 patients.

This position may require floating to different areas as needed.

This is a short-term acute care position, and all travelers are required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates.

Interdisciplinary support is available, and the unit deals with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Candidates must be proficient in the use of specific surgical equipment and techniques related to their specialty.
