Job descriptionFlexibility : Choose which cases to accept or decline based on your schedule. Compensation : Enjoy competitive rates based on your individual fee schedule. Organized Documentation : All necessary medical documents will be provided in an organized manner. In-Person Exams : IMEs must be conducted in person. Board Certification : Must be a board-certified General Surgeon. Experience : Previous experience in performing IMEs is a plus but not mandatory. Skills : Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential.
We are searching for a skilled, board-certified General Surgeon to join our team in Mesa, AZ, for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). This role offers flexible scheduling, with cases assigned based on your availability, allowing you to accept or decline assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review Medical Records : Thoroughly analyze patient medical documents related to general surgical conditions.
- Conduct Physical Exams : Perform in-person evaluations of patients with surgical issues.
- Address Clinical Questions : Respond to inquiries from insurance carriers regarding surgical matters.
- Prepare Reports : Deliver detailed IME reports within a turnaround time of 5 days.
