The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is the agency charged with licensing and regulating State of Florida businesses and professionals, such as cosmetologists, veterinarians, condominiums, hotels, and restaurants. Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly, and we strive to meet this goal in our day-to-day operations.
This position is located within the Bureau of Public Engagement of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. This position is a part of the administrative assistant team and is responsible for the administrative functions in the office.
Your specific responsibilities include :
- Review consumer complaints routed in the Department's Document Imaging System, open compliance cases in the Department's Licensing System, and assign complaints to the appropriate staff members.
- Provides general information to the public as a result of telephone, written and in-person inquiries. Performs special assignments, as needed.
- Assist the FEA and IS Supervisors with hiring packages for new staff members including, but not limited to, scheduling interviews and work samples, collecting documents from the applicants, compiling documents and information for the hiring package, and forwarding documents to the Division HR Liaison.
- Arrange travel schedules and reservations as well as help maintain the calendar(s) and coordinate meetings for the FEA and IS teams.
- Performs other related work duties as required.

Two (2) years of relevant experience in customer service and administrative functions.
