Responsibilities

• Produce the live Canton’s Morning News Show from 5 : 30 am to 10 am Monday through Friday
• Help schedule interviews and develop topics for the show
• Record interviews and post them on our website podcast, create shorts for YouTube, and share them on other social media
• Stay up to date on local, state, and national news and sports to contribute to the show
• Be proficient in Streamyard, WordPress, Google Docs, and Sheets
• Be flexible, as duties can change daily. Covering press conferences, sports events, and more is a part of some days
• Engage in a respectful manner with guests and listeners
• Assist in special promotions, programming activities, and produces show / station promos
• Video creation abilities are required
• Background in sports play-by-play and commentary, and a good knowledge of sports is helpful
