Job descriptionProvide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or breaches. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and / or potential threats within the financial institution environment. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site. Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency response personnel when necessary. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty. Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Have access control or badge experience is preferred. Have customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
