As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence at a major utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and supporting first responders as needed.

Operate communication devices to stay informed and relay information as required.

Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors to provide assistance and information when needed.

Minimum Requirements :

At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
