Department Overview
The Social Work department provides emotional support and counseling to children and their families. They provide crisis intervention services help with adjustment issues grief and loss counseling mental health assessments case coordination community advocate support and short-term therapeutic interventions.
Position Summary
Seeking a social worker (LSW) to work in partnership with our clinical social work team to enhance care for patients presenting through our emergency department in behavioral or mental health crisis through resource mobilization case management psycho-education and advocacy. This role will support efforts to reduce readmission through safe and sustainable discharges. Seeking enhanced data collection to foster organizational and community advocacy on behalf of patients and families. Support department goals of effective consistent and efficient discharge plans. Role will be based in St. Paul with the ability to provide support to Minneapolis virtually or in person. Day / Eve availability 11a-7p

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
