Job descriptionCurrent FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to track maintenance and inventory accurately. Ability to travel frequently throughout the service territory. Basic technical aptitude for drone hardware and software systems; previous UAS maintenance experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive 'can-do' attitude! Friendly interactions with clients, crew, co-workers, and management at all times. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work productively with minimal supervision. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. Prolonged periods of standing / walking Prolonged periods of driving Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (video review & analysis) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Wages. UAS Maintenance Program Managers will be hourly at-will employees, employed by JetPro on a W2 basis. Pay will commensurate with experience. Expenses. Approved expenses, if any, will be reimbursed (pre-tax). Time Off. No paid time off is offered for the first year. Unpaid time off may be requested. Health Insurance. High-deductible plan with optional Health Savings Account. Retirement. Full-time employees are eligible for 401(k) Safe Harbor plan, including up to 4% company match after approx 10 weeks. Dental. Available at employee expense, via payroll deduction. Vision. Available at employee expense, via payroll deduction. Life. Group Life Insurance included at no charge. We are seeking a UAS Maintenance Program Manager , based in Sacramento CA or Concord CA, to support the operation and sustainment of our client's unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) fleet. This role involves traveling throughout the service territory to deliver and retrieve drones, perform routine maintenance, and ensure aircraft readiness. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable managing both technical and logistical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, retrieve, and swap UAS platforms across the service territory to maintain operational availability.
- Perform and document basic maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of UAS equipment.
- Track all maintenance activities, parts usage, and service records in accordance with program standards.
- Manage inventory, including shipping, receiving, and stocking of parts and replacement units.
- Coordinate with operations and compliance teams to ensure aircraft meet safety and regulatory requirements.
