Workday Platform Developer

This role is a search on behalf of a client. This role is completely remote and direct hire, but you must live within Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

Workday Developer - Build and Integrate Solutions for a Thriving Business

We're seeking a top-notch Workday Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing and implementing innovative solutions across HR, Finance, Procurement, and more.

You'll leverage your expertise in Workday to design, build, and integrate powerful systems aligned with our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Workday solutions for HRIS, Finance & Accounting, Source to Contract, and Procure to Pay.
• Integrate Workday with external systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards for insightful data visualization.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts and accounting teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Work within a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a similar field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Workday solutions in HRIS, Finance & Accounting, Source to Contract, and Procure to Pay.
• Proven track record of successful Workday implementations, including core functionalities, Prism Analytics, and Extend.
• Current experience with Workday Extend is a must.
• 7+ years of experience working on complex IT projects implementing business solutions using SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with source code control systems (Git, SVN).
• Experience with defect / incident tracking software.
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools and pipelines (Git, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Prior experience in automated testing (Unit / System Testing) using tools like Postman is preferred.

Bonus Points

• Experience with UX / UI design.
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Workday certification(s) in one or more modules.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics for data visualization and analytics.
