Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented SMTQC Inspector to support our PCB manufacturing operations on the swing shift. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Surface Mount assemblies and experience inspecting both SMT and through-hole printed circuit boards. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with product documentation, detecting component and soldering issues, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Hours
Monday – Friday
2 : 30PM – 11 : 00PM (Swing Shift, eligible for +10% shift differential)
Pay
$23.00 – $24.00 / hr
Job Duties
Review and interpret Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation, and deviation implementations for Surface Mount assemblies.
Perform Surface Mount component FA inspection process.
Stop the production line when quality issues are identified.
Scan board data into the DGS system.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of inspection experience with surface mount and through-hole printed circuit boards.
Proficient in using digital multimeters (DMM) with ability to measure and interpret readings.
Previous experience in contract manufacturing.
Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately.
Skilled in identifying components, polarity, part marking, and solder joint quality.
Strong ability to interpret quality control specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate and able to effectively communicate with co-workers.
