KForce has a client that is seeking a Lead Java Engineer in San Jose, CA / San Francisco (4 days onsite per week M-Th in office, Friday WFH for a 6 12 Month Contract Potential CTH Client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Engineer with strong hands-on expertise to architect, design, and lead development of scalable enterprise applications. Candidate will be asked to analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and / or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Using current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

• Duties / Day to Day Overview :

Authors, reviews and approves technical designs

Required Skills : 12 years of hands-on expertise to architect, design, and lead development of scalable enterprise applications in modern Java technologies, distributed systems, Springboot, Microservices 3-5 years of experience with Java 17 5 years of hands-on with Cassandra Proficient in Kafka Extensive experience implementing Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and various Microservice Patterns Experience with Oracle or MySQL Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) methodologies and Tools Hands-on experience with monitoring / metric tools (NewRelic, AppD, ELK, Grafana, Splunk or similar tools) Unit testing with Junit and Mockito Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to translate business requirements and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read technical and functional specifications. Nice to Have Strong background in Supply Chain Order Management domain. Drop shipping experience is a plus Hands-on experience with Solr Experience using Elasticsearch for transactional data storage Experience with Spring WebFlux to build synchronous and asynchronous Microservices
